How FreierTermin works
Four steps, no bureaucratese, no tricks. We show you the way to the appointment – you book with the authority yourself.
The four steps

Enter place and request
Type your city or postcode and describe your request in everyday language, for example "ID card expired" or "re-register car".
- 02
Find the responsible authority
We show you the responsible office and the nearest office – with address, opening hours, distance and the official booking link.
- 03
Compare status
Every office gets an honest label: Available, No appointments found, Not available live or Check required. Never invented times.
- 04
Set an alert and book officially
Nothing free? Create an alert. When a slot opens up we notify you by e-mail or push – you then book directly on the authority's website.
The four statuses you will see
We only ever show what we actually know. Every status carries the time of the last check.
- Availability: Available
Available
There were free appointments at the last check. The link leads straight to the official booking.
- Availability: No appointments found
No appointments found
The check ran successfully, but nothing was free. An alert lets you know as soon as that changes.
- Availability: Not available live
Not available live
We are not allowed to query this booking system automatically. You get the official link and check for yourself.
- Availability: Check required
Check required
The last check failed or is outdated. Please look on the official website.

Each booking system is checked at most once per interval, no matter how many alerts are waiting for it.
What we do not do
We do not book appointments for you and do not fill in forms.
We do not bypass CAPTCHAs, logins or other access restrictions.
We do not send personal data to government systems and do not invent availability.
